Premium Cable Television Networks, is seeking a Back-End Java Developer to create and maintain systems to support consumer-facing web properties, new technology initiatives, interfacing with mobile applications and internal business applications. The Developer will work closely with users to complete analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of those systems. This person will be expected to adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle and also complete documentation of business process and systems.
Responsibilities:
. Create and maintain systems supporting highly-visible, consumer-facing Web properties, mobile applications, new technology initiatives and internal business applications
.Take part in analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. Work as part of a dynamic team creating cutting-edge consumer based applications
Required Skills:
. 5+ years Back-End Java experience, preferably within the Media Industry
. 5+ years experience with J2EE for server-side development, including communication with back-end databases
. 5+ years experience working with Spring
. 5+ years experience with Hibernate
. Experience with creating and consuming web services
. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
