Title: Software Engineer Design C++
The Software Engineer has responsibilities extending to the development and design of system software. The position may require the engineer to develop software tools used to configure, calibrate, diagnose, develop, and test system software.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Specify, design, and implement system software and test software for new acquisition system.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field
2. 3-5 years’ experience developing software for complex systems or computerized products and Software development cycle
3. 3-5 Experience in object oriented design methodology and C++
4. Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as ClearCase
5. Some working knowledge/exposure with Unix and Linux systems.
Preferred (not required) Qualifications:
1. Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related computer field
2. Experience in software platform, advanced applications, user-interface design and/or systems engineering
3. Experience in platform and application development
4. Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Tools and/or LEAN processes
