Academic Qualification:
1. Qualified barrister or a solicitor (LLM preferred).
Experience:
• 5-8 years of solid experience with any reputed organization of managing all kind of corporate and legal affairs.
• Currently working as Head of Legal Affairs or one-level below, recent experience at Large Multinational
will be preferred.
Job Description:
1. Assuring that the businesses comply with all legal requirements and managing both internal and external
legal resources such as various legal counsels and regularity bodies when required.
2. Advising on minimal liability/legal exposure for the company and researching the implications of legislation
and case laws that could impact the business and reporting findings back to the Company Directors.
3. Critically analyzing and providing helpful legal assistance on all corporate issues such as employment,
company policies, disputes, contracts, mergers and ventures etc.
4. Reviewing all legal documents to make sure they are effectively drafted and interpreted.
5. Working with other departments of the company on certain projects such as taxes, fund raising, mergers,
ventures and developing corporate policies.
6. Taking a lead role, where appropriate, in hearings and inquiry meetings.
