Required Skills
BSEE, Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science; MS or PhD preferred
10+ years reliability engineering with electronic and electromechanical
assemblies
Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent with demonstrated grasp of advanced
statistical methods
Proven design for reliability experience with electronic systems or
electromechanical systems
Embedded Software testing experience a must, RS232, 488, DeviceNet and
Profibus
Test and test development experience with electronic or electromechanical
systems
Expert knowledge of PCBA and electronic component failure mechanisms and
manufacturing methods
Expert knowledge of state of the art reliability modeling, assessment and
improvement methods
Software QA experience and software lifecycle CMMI knowledge
LabView hardware/software design knowledge/experienc e desirable
Semiconductor, automotive and/or medical experience preferred
Understanding of HALT, HASS and Lifetest design requirements
Visual Basic and C/C++ programming a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation
skills
Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve issues, including with
customers
Technical, Urgency-driven, Curious, Pragmatic
