FT/Perm Position: Maintenance Mechanic - Denver, CO (with funds available
for relo assistance for qualified candidates)
Responsibilities:
Provides conceptual design, fabricates and assembles new or existing
mechanical components or assemblies to facilitate and support testing.
Set up and perform all machine and bench operations necessary to make alter
or repair existing or new R&D functions.
Repair/maintain equipment (i.e., electrical, plumbing, pipefitting,
carpentry, painting, and mechanical).
Assist in the setup and operation of test equipment and makes repair and
modifications as required.
Purchase/ Identify support materials and equipment as required.
Support the operations of the R&D and testing facilities.
Requirements:
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two year college or technical
school OR three-five years of related experience; OR equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Solid knowledge and skills in mechanical and electrical equipment,
fabrication, operation and assembly.
Strong knowledge of MS office software products, including Word and Excel
and Oracle.
Minimum of five years experience in an R&D or process design/testing
environment.
Strong knowledge of process operations and process maintenance.
Experience in Pilot scale process preferred (although not required).
Basic knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA regulations
Minimum Three years experience in machining and setup.
Ability to weld, solder and braze a variety of metal alloys
Basic knowledge of R&D process and testing.
Experience in a production facility.
The job can be physically demanding, involving movement of heavy equipment
and carrying materials up and down stairs. Candidates should be able to lift
a 60-lb load.
Candidates must be willing to work a variety of shift schedules.
Funds ARE available for relocation for candidates who meet the above-listed
skill sets.
$22 - $26 per hour+ (Pay rate depending on years of RELEVANT experience,
education, etc) - plus overtime (when worked), full bennies, etc.
