SENIOR APPLICATIONS MANAGER
A renowned textile industry in Karachi currently requires Senior Applications Manager having a strong background in Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) and solution support management. Must possess excellent organizational, project management, communication & analytical skills and must operate with a sincere “client satisfaction” focus. The candidate should also possess strong interpersonal skills and be ready to manage, lead & nurture a team of highly technical staff as well as a user community with varying levels of technical expertise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
·         BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
·         Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably in complex manufacturing environment, of that 4 or more years must be of managing business/technology analysis and software development teams.
·         Experience creating processes and standards pertaining to software development as well as in managing analysts’ teams.
·         Deeply understands and has practiced SDLC concept: Adept at all stages of project lifecycle from business requirements and technical definitions to development, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production support, and completion.
·         Proven background of developing Web services, packages, procedures, and applications/modules.
·         Software development experience with:
o   Good knowledge of the object-oriented development technologies such as JAVA
o   Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Open Interfaces, and APIs & exposure to Oracle eBusiness suite of applications.
o   Must have some experience with Visual Basic Development.
o   Should have some exposure to web application development.
o   Must be able to write System Integration Design and Process flows.
o   Must be able to write Integration, Regression and UAT test Plans.
