The company’s PTA plant was constructed with US $500 million – one of the largest ever industrial investments made in Pakistand. The company as part of its plant efficiency and reliability improvements plan, is investing an additional US $50 million in its own power generation by setting a 48 MW Co-Generation power plant compromising of Gas Turbine GE LM6000 Gas Compressors, HRSG, DCS operation and associated Electrical System for its manufacturing facility. The company is looking to recruit top quality professionals for positions based at Port Qasim Karachi.
SHIFT MANAGER
• Bachelor of Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a local or overseas university with a minimum of 5 years operation experience in Petrochemical / Refinery / Fertiliser plant, preferably in operation of Gas Turbine / Co-Generation or Combined Cycle power plant.
• Must have analytical skills to carry out root cause analysis in day to day operations.
• Should be computer literate with good command of written and spoken English.
• Age limit 35 years.
DCS BOARDMAN
· Diploma in Chemical Engineering or F.Sc. with minimum experience of five years working as boardman in Petrochemical / Refinery / Fertiliser plant, preferably in operation of Gas Turbine / Co-Generation or Combined Cycle power plant.
· Must have operational / analytical skills to handle emergencies.
· Should be computer literate with good command of written and spoken English.
· Age limit 35 years.
2 YEAR APPRENTICESHIP
· Fields: Manufacturing Operator, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument Technician and Lab Assistant.
· Minimum Qualifications: F.Sc. (Pre-Engg – First Div) or DAE (First Div) in the respective field. For Laboratory Assistants, B.Sc. will be preferred.
· Age limit 25 years.
