The ideal candidate needs to have experience in as a strong financial consultant who has the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible in financial process reengineering project management.

Qualifications:
This is a unique hybrid role……we are looking for a strong financial consultant who has the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Additionally, this role is also a hands-on financial process reengineering project manager.
Our Innovation and Technology Department has gone through a recent globalization and improved maturity of our financial processes and controls is essential to the success of this large complex organization.
This role will advise and execute projects that are implementing process improvement solutions that strengthen accountability, and promote effective financial processes Project work may include involvement with financial process improvement, financial alignment with organizational goals, and department-wide finance transformation. Candidate must get training in and use Clients's Project Management Methodology.
You will bring to the table strong financial and accounting expertise, knowledge of business processes, industry insight and technology, and customer relationship skills. Through these capabilities in these areas, you assist our department in translating strategy into action and seeing them through to conclusion. Deliverables will include Clients defined necessary project documentation (charter, project plan, etc.) and bi-weekly project statusing, detailed documented financial processes (using COBIT as the basis) with implementation plans that include communication, training, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance, masters preferred
10+ years experience in senior role
Strong consultative skills balanced with the ability to execute
Excellent knowledge of financial processes and process reengineering
Demonstrated knowledge advising global organizations, improving efficiency and effectiveness of all financial processes with specific experience in IT financial processes including charge-back/ cost allocation models
Demonstrates an extensive ability to contribute to the development of a business vision and manage implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities.
Strong project and program management skills – PMBOK, Prince 2 or Six Sigma
Strong interpersonal, coaching and (financial)training skills
