Clinical Solutions Consultant - Northeast Position requires 75% travel
Clinical Solutions Consultant - Northeast

Vocera Clinical Solutions Consultants are involved in pre-deployment presentations and workshops, clinical workflow analysis and design, establishing best practice implementation processes, on-site training and consultation, and performing project management duties.

The Clinical Solutions Consultant works with customers, partners, and the Professional Services team with the goal of developing Vocera solutions that produce workflow improvements, support the end user, and maximize the benefits of the Vocera product. The position requires extensive travel.

Responsibilities:
Assists with designing customer-specific databases and developing system-level specifications to implement work and communication flows
Employs your clinical knowledge and demonstrated understanding of clinical workflow design / redesign to propose Vocera solutions that improve and optimize client's workflow and processes
Leads clinical workflow design sessions at project sites gathering data and working with the client's clinical staff in developing new processes and workflow improvements
Provides consultation and training strategies that include Vocera best practices
Manages, coordinates, and delivers clinical / system training for clients
Project manages implementation processes and projects, developing specifications and leading teams in the successful delivery of solutions compliant with standard methodologies
Represents and builds the Vocera brand by serving as a liaison between Vocera, Vocera partners, and customers
Maintains open communication with the Professional Service team, Manager of Clinical Solutions, field engineers, Vocera partners, and Vocera Areas Sales Managers
Develops, documents, and obtains peer review of best practices and deployment guidelines and processes to enhance workflow design, training, and end-user experience
Effectively communicates project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely, consistent, and clear manner

Education, Skills and Experience
BA/BS required
Five plus years of clinical practice
Proven experience and demonstrated success in clinical workflow analysis or process redesign
Experience with training in a clinical environment
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations, proposals, workflow designs, and training materials
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Experience managing projects, including documenting system requirements, creating and maintaining project plans, writing status reports, and working with client IT and clinical units to deliver solutions compliant with standard processes and meeting project success criteria
Basic knowledge of computer operations and ability to use MS Excel/Office, Visio, and Microsoft Project tools
Interest and desire in using technology to improve healthcare practices and productivity
Requires ability to utilize resources, problem solve independently
Enjoy extensive travel throughout North America, with the possibility of occasional international travel
