Director of Engineering - Kuwait

Oetker Hotel collection is looking for a 

Director of Engineering 

who works diligently to execute a cohesive, balanced plan of action to make a significant impact and deliver a finished product on time and on budget. Position has overall responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. 

The candidate should meet the below requirements:

• Design Development and Documentation
• Provide central contact to consistently coordinate and communicate with ownership.
• Carry out project kickoff meeting to communicate opportunities, progress and object.
• Generate / maintain significant path schedule including project milestones
• Conduct periodic drawing reviews to identify design objective and budget

Bid and Award

• Solicit general construction and FF&E Installation / liquidation bids
• Review and analyze all bids; prepare a bid analysis and project forecast
• Prepare general construction and FF&E installation / liquidation contracts for implementation.
• Maintain critical path project schedule interfacing with the assets.

Construction Management

• Present administrative services for all payments related to construction
• Administer all aspects of communication associated activities
• Track, correspond and communicate the project forecast against financial plan
• Make available an on-site superintend

Project Closeout

Provide project closeout and final forecast
