The Tech Lead will be responsible for the coding and care of the web platform's front end logic and data layers. A rich understanding of front end solutions and the complexities of browser and mobile displays. Tech Leads must display strong communication skills and a proactive personalities. The candidate must be able to work in a corporate setting where timelines are fluid, must be able to be productive during downtimes and at ease in a fast paced environment, able to handle their work and the people reliant on them with a professional manner. Able to understand and grasp processes related to development and bug fixing with an eye towards detail.

- A deep understanding of cross browser issues AND solutions.
- A strong grasp on the latest technical solutions, designs and libraries.
- Able to work without third party libraries if needed.
- At least a medium level of experience with Javascript.
- At least a high level of experience with CSS Styling.
- At least a high level of experience with HTML, xHTML and upcoming standards.
- At least a low level of experience in using XML for data.
- At least a low level of experience with Restful Services through AJAX.
- At least a low level of experience with ANT.
- At least a low level of experience with SVN or other code repository solution that has branching/merging.
- A high level of experience in debugging others code.
- Has worked with some form of Templating system in the past, understands the role of the Templating Engine and how to best apply it.
- Understands the need for separation of layout, design, and behavior and can write reusable and contained code.
- Understands the role of the Build System in optimizing files for web delivery, and the moving of those files from one environment to another.
- Understands the role of QA, and the process of bug fixing.
- Has worked independently and in a team environment.
