Mobile Application QA Tester Job in USA

Job Description:
We have partnered with a large Financial company to provide them with a Mobile Applications QA Tester in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Test Plan Strategy. Additionally the candidate will build and manage the overall test process, according to the QTC test methodology. Extensive experience test mobile applications for blackberry, iphone and android is required.

Candidates must have
1 Year Agile experience is needed.
Excellent communication
Experience testing mobile applications for blackberry, iphone and android

Essential Functions:
· Develop and maintain Test Plan strategy.
· Build and manage the overall test process, according to the QTC test methodology.
· Prepare, specify, and execute test case scenarios.
· Control and manage daily test activities.
· Provide internal quality assurance.
· Identify and report project risks.
· Report on progress of the test process.
· Ability to manage change during the test process.
· Evaluate overall test process.
· Support continuous integration and test driven development efforts
· Verification testing in production to make sure the changes was properly installed (walk the floor to spear-head any issues that arise from releases).
· Administration of test control and statistics collection (i.e. problem reporting, defect tracking).

Experience & Qualifications:
· At least 2+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis.
· At least 1+ years working in agile (SCRUM) environment.
· Knowledge of software development life cycle and processes for quality assurance guidelines.
· Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
· Knowledge of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools and standards of software development and testing 

  (software estimation techniques, risk assessment and management, configuration management and change 
  control, software tracking constructs).
· Knowledge of Mercury tools such as TestDirector, WinRunner, QuickTest Professional and/or Selenium and 
  LoadRunner.
· Knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc.).
· Knowledge of XML-based technologies, and encryption programming (SSL, etc.).
· Knowledge of Windows and UNIX environments including AIX and / or HP-UX and Linux.
· Knowledge of object oriented programming, C++ and Java.
· Knowledge of the disciplines of Software Engineering with emphasis on testing.
· Experience testing Client/Server and Web software.
· Knowledge of Internet and enterprise software technologies including web and application servers.
· Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio).

Education and/or Certifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
· B.S. Degree, Computer Science, MIS or related work experience.
· 2+ years experience participating in complex test programs.

Technical skills and abilities:
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage conflicting interests and identify compromises.
· Ability to deliver results under pressure.
· Ability to work non-standard hours up to 4x a month (for code releases if needed).
