Lead Process Engineer

We are currently seeking a high-energy, self - motivated and dedicated engineer/ scientist with proven track record to lead process design and technical proposal efforts reporting functionally to Regional Process Engineering Manager and operationally to Global Process Engineering Manager.

The selected candidate shall have expertise in the field of water and wastewater reuse treatment technologies and particularly to advise and make decisions on optimized designs and troubleshooting regional and global projects with effective management skills to successfully face technical challenges. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop process designs for new projects and provide support to sales team in the Country
• Provide expert advice recommendations on various treatability/ optimized design options for new project
• Sit on design review team for project for technical peer risk review to ensure the design optimization
• Collection and evaluation of operating/ pilot data from plant in operation and making recommendations for response to field inquiries based on the result of the analysis
• Interacting with the Project Manager, Sales. and the customers in technical meetings and present design offerings
• Optimize/refine designs based on customer feedback and meeting customers

Qualifications:

• Masters in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline
• 5-8 years process engineering experience in water treatment
• Experience / Exposure to International projects related to desalination, wastewater reuse and pure water
• Understanding of regional water & wastewater reuse market is a must and of Global is a plus

Desired characteristics:

• PhD degree
• Experience in Seawater Desalination systems, wastewater reuse, and Pure water Quitrent & Processes for Pre/Post treatment (Conventional equipment, MF/UF RO, EDR, EDI, IX, MBR)
• Excellent quantitative. analytical. problem solving. communication, interpersonal. presentation. influencing, facilitation, and computer skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
