We require a C++ developer with experience of developing low-level interfaces for Data I/O cards, Data acquisition Systems (DAQ) to retrieve real-time data from various analog and digital sensors and store them in a database. The developer ...should have
· Excellent practical experience of programming in C/C++
· An understanding of how analog and digital signals are processed (digital signal processing)
· Knowledge of signal sources (analog, digital, frequency based), Signal conditioning, Analog-to-digital converts
(ADC), multiplexers and Data acquisition boards with multiple analog and digital sensors
· Experience developing software that can interface with data acquisition hardware of different configurations
connected through any of USB, PCI/PCI Express, RS232 mediums.
· Used I/O hardware driver APIs to retrieve sensor signal information, process it and store in a database
· Knowledge of BOOST libraries for C++
· Written Multithreaded applications using POSIX
· Written Client/server modules to communicate with Data Acquisition systems over TCP/IP
· Knowledge of sockets based programming and low-latency network programming strategies.
The most important aspect of this job role is that the candidate must have a solid understanding of electronic data acquisition (requiring use of sensors, DAQ, ADC) methodologies and first-hand experience of developing software to interface with these systems using C++.
