Project Manager - Dubai

Job Description 

The candidate shall be an experienced manager of large multi-national, multi-disciplined projects and engineering teams with an international background and a track record of establishing overseas joint ventures and operations in all sectors of the Oil & Gas, Power and Petrochemical industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• The candidate will be responsible for the management of teams of Project Engineers, Discipline Engineers and Designers involved in the development of major projects from feasibility studies through conceptual design to detail design, implementation and commissioning. The candidate will be required to utilise management skills to demonstrate excellence in the following key areas: 
• Leadership 
• Project and Programme Management utilising proprietary software packages with internet transfer to/from overseas offices 
• Preparation and approval of divisional proposals incl. estimating, resourcing and recruitment 
• Development, management and promotion of international business strategies 
• Project cost and schedule monitoring, control and analysis 
• Planning for quality deliverables 
• Team building 
• Relationship management 
• Quality management 
• Performance reporting 
• Project change control 
• Overall delivery of projects and solutions 
• Management and control of health, safety and environmental risks associated with project activities. 
• Development and implementation of initiatives to improve cost effectiveness including employment of relational databases and software packages with internet transfer to/from overseas offices. 
• Effective management and control of risks through engineering design, installation, commissioning and operation. 
• Maintaining design integrity and quality within the project team(s). 
• Mentoring, coaching, training and technical leadership of subordinates. 

Profile

• Experience in Installation & Commissioning of Gas Turbine or any heavy equipment preferably Mechanical Engineer. 
• Experience: 7 - 30+ years 
• Education: Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering 
• Any Nationality
