Vacancy for a “Instructional
Designer� in the Production Department, eLearning Operations and Professional
Services Division/Karachi
The Instructional Designer is responsible
for designing a course. An IDer has to review the FTC and develop a plan on how
the storyboarding should be done in LCMS and then implement it. Search, edit
and develop different images (using Photoshop, illustrator) which must be
relevant to the text. Design interactivities, in order to engage or interact
with the student. Make the instruction document for the MM (multimedia) team
regarding interactivity which should help them in the development
process. Make the audio document for the assigned course so that it can
be recorded and uploaded in the course. Maintain constant interaction with the
Project Manager.
Position: Instructional Designer
Location: Karachi, PK
Timings: 0900-1800 PST
Number of positions: 01
Key Responsibilities
The IDer will:
Work in collaboration with the Production team
to create well organized, easy to understand and consistent web-based training
using company styles and standards.
Work on the content management tool (LCMS).
Work with the team to develop storyboards
by using the in-house application (LCMS).
Create and implement clean, effective,
professional, visually appealing, and accessible user interfaces of online curriculum.
Use user interface concepts to create
storyboards and scripts with ease of use, navigation paths and aesthetically
pleasing online content for wide range of end users
Actively assist in improving the usability,
usefulness, and desirability of 360training. com’s online courseware in
collaboration with other development teams.
Work on multiple platforms
Quickly and accurately recognize performance/ knowledge gaps.
Meet Quarterly Goals
Attend weekly department/POD meeting
Requirement
Knowledge/Skills:
Attention
to detail and accuracy.Proficient
in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Flash knowledge will be a plus.Highly
creative.Should
have good knowledge of web-based training.Ability
to work in a team and as well as independently. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in English.Highly
organized and motivated.Ability
to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment with constantly changing priorities.
Qualification required
Bachelor’s
degree is a must. Other areas of study providing similar skill sets and
experience will be considered.
The right candidate must have
strong interpersonal skills to maintain a cohesive team in achieving their
goals and should be able to foster innovation and participation in
continuous process improvement.
